Monique writes: Everyone took the same photos, but these may be original. I like them. Near Fort Laramie: The Great Plains where the happy Indians lived before the arrival of the settlers. Do not disturb the majestic BISON. A small restaurant where the decorations  show the pride "of being American." This Street Art in BUFFALO, Wyoming  shows the past life of cowboy and sheriff  near The Occidental Hotel founded 1880. A picture which is a summary  of this beautiful park, Yellowstone. Thank you, Monique. I dream of returning with another group..... My best, Jane

Michèle writes:  Wild Idea Ranch … I liked so much Wild Idea Ranch where we met Dan O’Brien, his wife, their son-in-law … it was fabulous, I didn’t g et to know them, I knew them. I read «  Buffalo For The Broken Heart  » and «  Wild Idea  » and they jumped out of the books and were in front of me !!!   Wonderful ! And the BISON ! The bison weren’t beautiful, but great, strong, they seemed cool and we felt their strength. I have a dream … walking with the bison on the Great Plains ! Thank you Jane for having organized the Wyoming Trip 2019 and especially the meeting with Dan’O Brien in his ranch. But I was so disconsolate Jane wasn’t with us !!! My best,  Jane For Your Information (FYI): November 2nd, yesterday, was National Bison Day! https://wildideabuffalo.com/blogs/blog https://www.awarenessdays.com/awareness-days-calendar/national-bison-day-2019/  --disconsolate = very unhappy and unable to be comforted...In fact, I don't know this word, Michèle

The group has returned; the blog is back too!

It's already the month of November!  The group flew to the USA on September 7, 2019 and came back to Grenoble on September 19th.  It's time to bring this blog back to life by sharing some of their experience with you. But first, I have a confession to make.  After all this preparation...an unexpected turn of events.  On September 5th, I found myself in hospital with a little health problem which meant that the group left on September 7th, but without me. 😞   You can imagine how disappointed I was! 😞 But c'est la vie. The students had a fabulous trip and I can share some of their photos/videos with everyone. To start, here's Michèle's photo of the group at Dan O'Brien's ranch.  Photos of the many bison they saw will be posted soon. More later. My best, Jane
